TopTec has given more reasons to be the tent partner rental companies can count on. “This latest structure was designed with our customer in mind. Most other structures are cumbersome and lack the ease of setup that our customer have gotten accomstomed to with products like our Future Trac. When they see how quickly this goes up, how easy it is to store and transport, they will be amazed.” Said Mike Tharpe of TopTec.

The new clear span is called the “Premium Line” and go up to 25M (82′) wide.  

TopTec finally names its mascot. All the votes are in and the TopTec mascot’s name is “Big Blue”.  ”I am a little disappointed that ‘Tharpey’ was not the winning name. That was Party Suppliers’ (in NC) suggestion and I thought it was right on.” Said Mike Tharpe of TopTec. The winning name was submitted by Chase Canopy, LLC of MA. “The irony is amazing, I know most of those guys are Patriot fans who clearly hate the Giants but the winning name was ‘Big Blue’. ” said John Ciniglio of TopTec. The top 9 sugessted names were Big Blue;Toppy;Frankie;Armstrong;Maximus;Topper;Dury;Tippy;Orbit. 

Jan, 25 2008- IFAI Tent Division has awarded TopTec Products the “Award of Excellence” which recognizes excellence in tent manufacturing and tent installations with judging completed by tent rental industry peers. The job that won the award for TopTec was a highly custom tent for a very high profile event and had to be designed to fit into very tight corners.  TopTec used a cantilever frame to extend the water run off so water would move over the wall and away from the event. The clear tops had to be specially designed to handle the extra run-off and keep from puddling. The custom tent has been used as a semi-permanent installation.  TopTec is continuing to build its resume of high profile custom tents as part of its initiative of being a “tent partner its customers can count on”.
